COVID-19 Protocols
PLEASE READ FULLY!
All Coaches, Players and Visitors are required to comply with all listed protocols and posted signage while in the facility.
- All Coaches/Skaters/Guardians/Parents/Visitors will sign our Acknowledgement of Risk/General Waiver at the time of purchase/visit. A purchase cannot be finalized without completion of these waivers.
- On a practice/game day, all coaches, skaters, visitors must sign our DAILY HEALTH DECLARATION. There is NO RINK ENTRY UNDER ANY CONDITION WITHOUT SUBMITION OF DECLARATION.
- A maximum of 10 (TEN) SKATERS, including coaches, are permitted on the ice during any given ice slot. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Skaters and Guardians will enter the rink no SOONER THEN 15 MIN before the start of their practice.
- No Parents, Spectators, Visitors or Guests will be allowed for skaters 12 years of age and older.
- Skaters younger than 12 years of age are each allowed one parent, spectator, visitor or guest. NO EXCEPTION. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY!
- Protective Face Covering/Face Masks are required at all times in LIC-ICE. Please do not come into the building without one. Anyone refusing to wear a mask will be asked the leave the facility.
- Each player must bring and wear proper foot wear (sneakers) and to participate. FLIP FLOPS, BOOTS, or BARE FEET ARE NOT ALLOWED.
- Each player must bring their own hockey equipment and hockey apparel WE DON’T HAVE ANY EXTRA EQUIPMENT TO SHARE.
- Each player must bring their own water bottle with his/her name clearly written. SHARING OF WATER BOTTLES IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
Sport Athletes
- All athletes must wear a face mask during check-in and check-out and during all times within LIC-ICE. Athletes may remove their mask while engaging in their sport activity while maintaining safe social distance practices, but must put their mask on after their activity.
- Please explain this safety protocol with your child in advance and clearly mark your child’s face covering with your child’s name.
Hand Sanitizing Stations
- Additional touchless hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout the facility.
- Everyone is asked to use hand sanitizer when entering LIC – ICE and frequently throughout their visit. The hand sanitizer solution kills up to 99.9% of germs and includes 67% ethyl alcohol, above and beyond the CDC’s guidelines of 60%.
Limited Capacity
- To maximize safety for all members of our community and ensure social distancing, we are reducing capacities by 50%, per State guidelines.
Cleaning Protocol
- We have always and will continue to use hospital-grade cleaners on the EPA list N-certified to kill COVID-19. Below is an outline of our daily cleaning protocol:
- Our spaces are cleaned, and all shared equipment disinfected after every class and program.
- All high-touch surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout the day.
- Maintenance teams will also use electrostatic handheld and back-pack sprayers, that efficiently attack microbes, providing 3x more coverage in the same amount of time than traditional efforts.
Enhanced Air and Surface Purification
- We have taken safety measures beyond what you can see, to include our ventilation and fresh air requirements.
- Upgraded air filters to hospital-grade, capable of filtering particles as small as a virus.
- Install new windows in exercise area with fans to comply with FRESH AIR INTAKE AND CIRCULATION.
- Install 3 roof “mushroom” exhaust fans, one in exercise room, one at each changing area
